Our Production Facility

We produce our olive oils at the Orkes production facility using high-quality and environmentally friendly production technology. Our machines, produced with superior German technology, comply with European standards, featuring PLC control and modern continuous system machines compliant with CE standards. High-quality stainless steel is used on all surfaces that may come into contact with the product. In our facility, where quality and hygienic production are always prioritized, the washing system within the machines is completely cleaned every day, preventing residues from spoiling the freshness and quality of the olive oil during the production stage. Thanks to the continuous system, olive oils are produced entirely untouched, while closed-system production allows for controlled contact of olive oil with oxygen. Olives are processed from the first stage to the last with high efficiency and low oxidation. The continuous system also enables the production of olive oils with low acidity, which are cleaner and purer, while also maximizing the preservation of beneficial components within the olive fruit.

During the production process, ensuring that the temperature of olives to be processed with the cold press technique does not exceed 25 degrees Celsius, and 35 degrees Celsius for the hot press technique, helps preserve the chemical and organoleptic properties as well as the unique nutritional values of the olive fruit.

Olives arriving at our production facility are immediately processed after passing quality control. After being subjected to appropriate thermal conditions and waiting times during the malaxation process and separated by centrifugal method in the decanter, they are sent to the separator for filtration. The oil coming out of the separator is transferred untouched to chromium tanks filled with nitrogen gas and stored there at 20°C.

Our facility uses environmentally friendly production techniques. The 2-phase production model eliminates water and environmental pollution caused by blackwater, a byproduct of olive oil production, while the superior technology of our machines efficiently utilizes the natural moisture and water in olives, preventing additional water waste. The water used to wash the olives is stored in our reservoir, then passed through a treatment system, making it suitable for environmental irrigation. This way, an environmentally friendly production process is achieved.
